New York Times' controversy
The New York Times firing of a reporter, Jayson Blair, who fabricated dozens of stories raises some interesting questions, Editor & Publisher says, because the paper's very public disclosure of the investigation seems to dissemble. The guy clearly deserved to be fired, but the E&P piece is a must-read for its dissection of the NYT report on its internal investigation and processes.
